I’m obsessed with listening to?
Nostalgic classics, like Roxy Music, Depeche Mode, The Cure and Talking Heads on repeat.
I’m obsessed with creating?
A meaningful platform for circular fashion through RECIETY. A place for curated pre-loved and vintage, where you can read about a piece’s history and the lives it’s lived, read stories from conscious creatives, and a place for connection through physical experiences, like our first pop-up held alongside dear friends from Selected Objects and Constantina Vintage.
I’m obsessed with going to?
Galleries. Some of my favourites are:
– V&A and the Hayward Gallery, London
– Atelier Brancusi and Bourse de Commerce, Paris
– Peggy Guggenheim Collection, Venice
– FOAM photography museum, Amsterdam
– MAAT, Lisbon
Locally, I love the White Rabbit and AGNSW Sydney Modern. MONA Tasmania is on my bucket list.
I’m obsessed with reading?
Vintage art, photography and fashion magazines and books. The curation by Selected Objects (@_selected_objects) is amazing, my go-to. My husband recently hunted down a copy of British Vogue from the month and year I was born. I love going through the 80’s editorials, features and ads.
I’m obsessed with the art of?
The incredible sculptures by British artist, sculptor and mother, Dame Barbara Hepworth. If you’re in the UK, it’s beautiful to visit the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden (which used to be her home and studio), and now part of Tate St Ives in Cornwall.
I’m obsessed with the photography of?
Mark Borthwick’s work from the 90’s has long been an inspiration. I love how intimate and personal his work feels. Having the opportunity to work on a shoot with him in London while at Burberry was a dream. One of the most free spirits I’ve met.
I’m obsessed with the design of?
The ‘Master of Light and Concrete’, Japanese architect Tadao Ando. He has recently created his first ever project in Australia - the concrete MPavilion in Melbourne.
I’m obsessed with wearing?
The Orb Oversized Necklace and the Large Lava Heart Earrings.
I’m obsessed with helping/doing my part in?
Being a conscious, curious citizen.
