Friend of Meadowlark, Felicity Brand shares with us her favourite places to eat and drink, things to see and more in the city of love.
Places to go
– The Jardin des Tuileries are my favourite sanctuary for running, reading and picnicking! Check out the Musée du Louvre and Palais-Royal which are both close by.
– Bookshop, librairie Yvon Lambert is one of the oldest and most charming in Paris.
– For shopping – wander around Le Marais and check out concept store, Merci. For international designers head to Rue Saint-Honoré (the new Acne flagship there is incredible).
– Stay – Hotel Amour.
Places to eat or get coffee
– Coffee/breakfast – I personally need to balance out all the bread and butter with a healthy start at Wild & The Moon or Season in Le Marais. Or if you're after something more classic you have to stop by Café de Flore.
– Lunch – Cafe Charlot for a casual bite and great people watching or LouLou if you're feeling fancy…
– Dinner – I am a natural wine lover so Déviant, Early June and Clown Bar all have the most insane food and wine lists.
Things to see and do
– Le Corbusier Studio Apartment (go in the morning or afternoon light).
– Have afternoon tea at the Ritz Paris – it’s a true experience.
– Listen to records at vinyl bar, Bambino.
– Eat classic French steak & frites at Chez l'Ami Louis.
