My music taste is all over the show, but something about this year has made me particularly obsessed with any song that makes me feel like I could be dancing in a sweaty club. Let’s call it Dancefloor Deprivation.

The perfect combination of words that conveys precisely and succinctly what is in my brain.

Te Waipounamu, the South Island for a road trip in summer. Stuck in NZ and making the most of it baby!

I’m obsessed with reading?
Almost anything. I am part of a book club which I love because discussing the same book through varying perspectives always helps to offer new viewpoints for consideration. We recently finished the Vanishing Half by Brit Bennett which was excellent and are now about to start Untold Night and Day by Bae Suah.

I’m obsessed with the art of?
Raukura Turei and Emma McIntyre for their sublime use of colour and texture. Gustav Klimt for his gilded women and because it reminds me of my mum’s house.

I’m obsessed with the photography of?
Tyler Mitchell, Diane Arbus, Zhang JiaCheng / Leslie Zhang, Viviane Sassen and Cass Bird.

I’m obsessed with the design of?
Great mid-century houses out West.

I’m obsessed with wearing?
My Meadowlark micro pearl anklet, with sandals in summer and over dainty socks.

I’m obsessed with helping/doing my part in?
Avoiding fast fashion and chain stores. If I want to buy something new or trend-based for my wardrobe, I will usually try and scour local and online vintage stores or charity shops to find a similar secondhand version. Or, I’ll purchase from a local designer whose ethos I agree with.
