The Process

Where to Start

Browse our Ceremonial rings to find something that suits your love, if you are unsure please contact us and we can guide you each step of the way to choose the right piece for you.

Once you are ready to begin the process to owning a beautiful ring, we can help fill in the blanks, and are happy to offer guidance on stones, metals, or adjustments to accommodate particular budgets.

We can customise our existing designs or we can collaborate with you on a bespoke piece.

You might like to start by browsing Engagement Rings here.

Sizing

If you’d like to surprise someone with a ring and you don’t know what size they wear, you can very carefully measure the internal diameter of an existing ring. If you would prefer, we can send you a free ring sizer.

If you are still not sure, please get in contact with us and we can recommend the best size to choose.

If it doesn’t fit we offer free of charge resizing on our engagement rings.

Metals

We make our Ceremonial range in a wide range of precious metal colours and carats — 9ct yellow, rose and white gold, 14ct yellow or white gold 18ct yellow or white gold & platinum.

The most durable options are 18ct gold or platinum, as these have the highest concentration of pure gold or platinum in their alloys, however 9ct and 14ct wear beautifully and have unique tonal properties.

Traditional jewellers often rhodium plate white gold & platinum to give it a really bright white silver finish. We only plate on request as we love the natural look of the metals. If you would prefer your ring rhodium plated just let us know.

While the above is worth careful consideration, as with the rest of your ring selections this is a matter of personal preference, and we are happy to help you work through the options.

Stones

There are an array of stones that can be set into our Ceremonial designs, it is not restricted to diamonds.

The best place to start is browsing the options listed on each style and explore their natural tones and colours - each which can change the feeling of the ring significantly.

Diamonds and sapphires are some of the hardest wearing options with the most longevity. If this is one of your priorities we do recommend considering these. For further information about diamonds you can explore the diamond guide here.

With each ring we work carefully to select stone options that work beautifully with the design, if you’re looking for something not shown on our website please do enquire.

Making Up a Set

Some ring styles are designed to fit together with other styles, forming a harmonious set that can be added to over the years.

You can also play around with possibilities, or try our range of simple fine diamond bands that don’t ‘lock’ into place around a ring, but look beautiful worn with so many unique styles.

As always, we are really happy to be part of this process, suggesting new combinations or tried-and-true perfect matches.
