We provide two packaging options at checkout so that you can select the service that works best for you. We encourage you to reach out to our support team with any feedback you should have on packaging. We value your input and want to provide you with the most environmentally responsible alternative to traditional packaging.
- Eco Packaging
When you select Eco packaging you will receive your Meadowlark order in a plain compostable bubble bag with a compostable address sticker. Inside of this is a jewellery box and a velvet pouch - these help to keep your items safe in transit. All Meadowlark pieces come inside a small plastic bag to keep them from scratching and tarnishing.
All of our Eco packaging is reusable, especially the bubble bag! It has been designed with a second opening to make it easy to re-ship. Another great use for this bag is as a small compost bin on your kitchen bench. When full you can put the whole thing directly into your outdoor compost bin.
We are working to make all components of our packaging 100% recyclable or compostable in future.
- Premium Packaging
When you select Premium packaging you will receive your order in a tissue lined Meadowlark cardboard box with a small care guide and thank you note. Inside of this is a jewellery box and a velvet pouch - these help to keep your items safe in transit. All Meadowlark pieces come inside a small plastic bag to keep them from scratching and tarnishing. Finally, these orders are shipped in standard plastic-based courier satchels.
We suggest reusing this packaging. Our courier satchels are great turned inside out and re-shipped, or as small bin liners. Our Meadowlark cardboard boxes are sturdy and great for storing small objects around the home.
Premium packaging is a beautiful option if you are gifting. Our tissue is FSC certified, and our plastic based courier bags, while not compostable, are a sustainable choice as we work through our current stocks of this item. We are working to make all components of this packaging option 100% recyclable or compostable in the future.
Your shopping cart displays the goods you have purchased. In stock items will be dispatched within three working days of receipt of payment and we will email you if there are any delays. Please note if your item is not in stock it will be made to order and therefore may take up to three weeks to be completed before being dispatched. All orders are shipped from New Zealand.
Orders to destinations within New Zealand will be sent by courier post couriers and are tracked. Items may need to be signed for, so if you are not at home we recommend having your item sent to your work address. Items will arrive within 1-3 working days of receiving your tracking information.
Lost or Damaged Items
If a package does not arrive, or it arrives damaged, please contact us within fourteen days from confirmation of dispatch. We will do everything we can to assist you if you wish to make an insurance claim.
We are not liable for and will not replace or pay compensation for loss of, or damage to, items we send if:
- the item is seized by Customs or any other government agency.
- the item is sent to a country where no postal or courier service exists.
- the loss or damage is the result of an event beyond our reasonable control.
- the loss or damage occurs after delivery.
- the item was authorized to be sent without tracking.
